I am sorry that I moved in this dump. I had a friend that lived in this apartment complex many years ago and it was much nicer. At that time, it looked like a luxury apartment. The hallways and grounds now look like a ghetto apartment. The hallway rugs look like someone placed oil stains on them intentionally, there is graffiti on the wall, and residents leave their litter and garbage on the floor. The management does not take care in cleaning it up or checking it either. The management office sent an eviction notice to me even though I had paid my rent. Once I had confronted the management office, which is not the same manager when I rented the apartment, they said that the check had been misplaced or stolen from the overnight drop off box. The only way I knew about this is because of the eviction notice was sent to me and by me contacting them. The office is so impersonal, that they do not give you a call to let you know if there is a problem. When I asked why they did not, the assistant manager said that is there policy..."impersonality". They are all hugs and smiles and talking when they want you to rent the apartment. The management is very non-caring about the fact that my rent check was lost or stolen. They do not give a damned that your identity may be stolen. Evidently, they have had other incidences of stolen rent checks and money orders, but have made no efforts to inform current residents or made precautions against such thefts. Ehen I tried to probe how many there had been, the assistant manager shut down. I contacted regional manager Tracy Rogers to voice my concerns and to date they have not contacted me. The previous managers at the Remington Place "would not" contact you back either if you had a problem with your apartment. I had a door that needed replacing and it took almost 5 months to get it replaced. Remington Place Slogan: Impersonal, Ghetto-like, Poor Service and Rent Check and Money Order Theft!!!!

I totally agree I really wish I could get out of here asap!! My old apartment was a 2br. and just as nice and about half the rent, the bi*ch of it is that they had people mop, vacumn and totally clean each hall every day, you can find any type of trash you want in my hallway! My hallway has not seen a vacumn in months, every guest tha enters my apartment is disgusted by the hallway, there is dirty sock's, wensy's wrappers, cigars, and vomit on the walls!! This place is truely a disgrace, my toilet run's NON STOP and when they finally came to look at it NOTHING WAS WRONG!!! Ihave had 2 very bad floods in here due to the horrrible toilet's, they refused to even send someone out to suck the water out of my soaked carpet, every day here is a nightmare, I just fear what is going to happen next!
