I work 40 hours a week and I'm in classes for 15, so I am the typical "slip the rent check under the door" resident. I have never dealt face to face with the staff at Summit View although I've been living here since summer 06. The view is irresistable. they have an indoor pool, outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis courts, ample parking and did I mention the view' Ok, so the downsides... They claim to have security, but its a joke. Nothings happend to me, but I've heard car alarms and I've seen the police visit other apartments at 2AM. I dont feel a need for security personally but I like the facade of it. Theres a gaurd shack (almost always empty) and they close the second entrance gate after dark. which is nice because we are located so close to some hard-up parts. Still, I dont feel unsafe living here. The stairwells (alternative to elevator) are poorly lit and look pretty terrible/frightening especially at night, but the elevators havent gone offline enough for me to care. Being located next to the Cincinnati Christian College definitely improves the neighborhood. I havent had any dealings with maintenence or office staff. and I like them for it. I hope I never have to. They do seem more interested in prospective residents than current ones, but they're realtors so I dont blame them. I'd like it if there was more community, because nobody talks to anybody else... still, I'm happy here. I plan to upgrade within Summit View once I'm financially stable.
