The building is really neat. An old shoe fabrik which has been converted into loft style apartments. It is tasteful; however the details are not as impressive as the first wow.(They are OK, though)

The layout is nice.

Security seems OK for downtown.Sometimes there are some individuals in the parking lot asking for change, but they leave you alone if you say "no".
The fire alarm went of for system problems several times which was fairly annoying...but better then no alarm.. :-)

The fireplace can heat the entire apartment during the winter. Gas is included in the rent. (Necessary since the 100 year old window do not conserve heat very well...)

It is great that animals are allowed. The only downside is that some people seem to get animals (especially fairly good sized puppies) only to lock them into their apartment and have them howl, cry and bark all day... as a previous reviewer mentioned...you can hear everything from upstairs...

Most people living here are nice. Some are more nosy then others and some seem to have problems with the smallest issues driving our poor maintenance staff and their neighbours wild...

Those maintenence guys are very nice. They live in the complex and are always there when needed!

Just the usual stuff to expect in an apartment complex...
All in all we really do like it and would move here again!
