All I did was go there to look at an apartment, I didn't even live there. The first impression was terrible. The girl that gave me a tour was more worried about what she looked like (she kept looking in mirrors). Her and her ditzy sidekick in the leasing office, both gave me dirty looks when I first walked in. I felt like they were looking at me like I couldn't afford the place or something. I have a very good job and my husband is an Engineer for Procter and Gamble. Price really wasn't a factor. But like I said, first impressions are very strong and my first impression of the place was terrible. I don't even know why I looked there in the first place. I have known 4 other people that used to live there, all of whom have moved out because of their disgust for the place. I looked at several other places in the Hyde Park'Oakley area and decided on Windsor at Brookstone Village. Their amenities are almost exactly the same (they don't have a jacuzzi outside, but who cares'''), they have alot more square footage in their apartments (their 1 bedroom is 760 square feet vs. 660 at the Drexel) and there prices are GREAT!!! I got my 1 bedroom for only $820 a month with 1 months free rent. So I only pay $752.00. The staff there is absolutely wonderful and they do great things for their residents to show appreciation. I definately suggest Brookstone Village. The Drexel is incredibely over-rated, the staff are nothing short than idiots ( I don't think they would even be capable of bagging groceries at Kroger's), the apartments are way too small and the prices are ridiculous.

You are just mad that you could not afford the Drexel. I have lived here for almost 4 years and my time here has been flawless. Windsor at Brookstone is nothing to compare the Drexel. I say this person is dead BROKE.

Windsor is the bomb, all you people are clowns. I lived there multiple years, also lived at Bishop's Gate and Lofts at Shillito. NOTHING stacks up to Brookstone. You can snub your nose but hands down, other than the parties, Brookstone is the best place in the Nati.
