I have lived in the Huntington for 4 years. While I enjoyed my time here, I am preparing to move, largely due to the fact that I simply don't want to live in this complex anymore.
The previous posts are correct...there has been a steady decline in the complex over the last few years. I suspect much of it was due to the previous management. They gave you a sweet deal to get you in the door and treated you like crap once you were there (significant rent increases, 60 day requirement in writing before moving out, etc.).
However, I don't think the new management has been much better, and virtually all of my communication with the management now comes in the form of letters from the East Lansing, MI management office. It's very impersonal and you get the feeling they don't really care about you.
The worst problem though has got to be the people. They've let some incredibly shady and sometimes dangerous people into this place in recent years. Even if the new management is supposedly ridding the place of these types of folks (which I doubt), it takes a long time for everyone's lease to run out, etc. and to get enough turnover to make the place worth living in again.
