Worse than you can imagine!

Same things that have been said. We moved in with the Manager knowing of a water leak in the closet of the second bedroom. He told us he already reported it to maintenance and it would be fixed before we moved in. Here it is six months later and the job is only half done. Then one night I turn on my TV and blue sparks and flames shoot out of the socket. I immidiately call maintenance and I was told it was Friday night and that they would take care of it first thing Monday morning. Ummmm.....well excuse me while my house burns down in the mean time!! After making SEVERAL calls including my husband having to call them from his work and us getting on three way the best they could do was to shut off our electricity and put us in the hotel for one night. One week after they "fixed this" it started doing it again. Knowing better than to call maintenance we took it upon ourselves to fix it-out of pocket. And when informing the office of the situation and that we were deducting the money from rent we were threatened that "that would be a big mistake". Now every plug in this place is loose and will not hold a plug in it. The water damage is still here. Not to mention the fact that we couldn't even close much less lock our sliding door for the first six months. And the stuff that has been said about the noise is true. It's not that our neighbors are excessively loud, but there is no sound proofing whatsoever!! You can hear everything. I have even heard quiet conversations between my neighbors through my vents! Also there must be no kind of insulation whatsoever. It is always freezing in here no matter how high the heat is on and during the summer it never got cool and my electric bill was $300 for August last year. I know this list seems to go on and on, but it is the truth. Unfortunately this list is not exagerated by any means. I am even sure there are some things I left out. Like not to mention the pool situation or the restraunt. If you plan to be happy and want to live peacefully, DON'T MOVE HERE!!
