Williamsburg is one of the most unique communities in Cincinnati. I do not live there, however, I have recently started working there as a vendor. I have a number of years experience in property management. Upon reading many of the comments posted below, i thought it was important to point out a few issues:
1. The grounds are clean, mowed, weed and litter free. The site is wooded and surrounded by mature trees. 2. The amenities are very well cared for
3. The apartments are incredible. The huge number and variety of floorplans available is staggering. What is also incredibly unique is that you don't get the feeling that you are in a cookie cutter community. Its more like a large village with different styles that all compliment one another. The apartments are older, but are of solid construction. You can't find new apartments of this quality.
4. The restaurant and pub will be an amazing feature. For the individual who mentioned that they are not open, I would recommend that you contact the state of Ohio and find out just how difficult it is to obtain a liquor license. Its a mafia type procedure and they (liquor licenses) are selling for an average of $25,000. Good luck finding many communities in this city that even have the facilities to have a restaurant. When you do, you will be paying rents closer to $2,000 per month (highland tower for example).
5. The feeling that I get from Williamsburg is that it is the model of what all communities, both private and public, should strive to be. Individuals of all ages, races and backgrounds. Children waiting at the bus stop and older folks out for their morning stroll. It is also incredibly quiet for an apartment community. The time that i have spent there, both in the evening and weekends, i only heard birds singing.
Towne Properties took over this property very recently. In that time, they have made huge improvements. Towne is the best in the business. Give them and the new manager Don some time to address deferred issues. They will. In the interim, please know from a vendor who spends a lot of time at other communities, Williamsburg is and will be one of the best.

"The apartments are older, but are of solid construction. You can't find new apartments of this quality...." WRONG! WOC has apts that CAUGHT on FIRE and are just left to ROT! They have BROKEN WINDOWS, siding that falls off, insulation that flies everywhere cuz now the birds can get to it, and DOORS that have NO KNOBS, off the hinges, and HOLES RUSTED thru; clearly this person is RETARDED and paid to say these comments. Drive thru the property-GET OUT OF your car and walk around too. It's easy to spot the repairs needed. And to think that on Friday's, their 24/7 maintenance staff gets to LEAVE early for the day! WOW! And all that work to be done...hmmmm. WOC & Towne Properties break LL/Tenant laws everyday, even after they know of the issues. GO SOME PLACE ELSE that will WORK for you; not against you! LISTEN so you don't have to LEARN THE HARDWAY!
