Our move in date was Aug 15. We get a phone call at 9am on the 10th from someone saying that the pet fee was missquoted and we are to pay $75 a month for the three of them. Not that thats a lot, its just the blantent lying and missrepresentation on a legal document(the contract to make a contract) that you get as a "guarantee" (yeah right) for the final monthly rent you are to pay including such things as the pet fee etc. After speaking to the manager at WOC and Towne Properties, I consulted my attorney who told me to hold them to the initial contract. I finally got the VP at TP to call me back after about 6 messages and the best he could do was split the fee in half. Still this did not satisfy me knowing their history, so I am pulling out. I made sure he would refund the deposit, and he will be getting a call from my lawyer for the inconvenience his bad business practice caused us (things like - selling our washer and dryer, rental truck deposits, and of course having to push back my wife's start date at her new job).
DO NOT MOVE IN TO WOC!!!!!
