"Heard by the Pool", "Living in the projects", "Kingsway Court Racist", etc.
I was reading a few postings of a place I called my temporary home while I was on a contract at Fernald, and I must say, while they are humorous, and also politically incorrect, they all still hold true in my eyes.
Renter BEWARE! Read the reviews, I don't think these reviews were put in here out of boredom, they have some merit to them. The entry "heard by the pool" is the greatest. This was put in in 2003, all the upgrades management had planned to act on, all the perks of making this area as great as it once was, where did those false promises go' Exactly, WOC speaks out of both sides of their mouths.
I bought out of my lease early, because of issues I had with inconsiderate folks living next door to me on both sides. Having a family and a toddler there at the time, I didn't feel safe. Yes, I am WHITE, as people here seem to point out what color they are, and yes I was a minority, call me what you will, I don't give a rats arse, but I was not comfortable living around ------ and white trash, even after having growing up in the inner city of Newport, KY.
I still drive by and through once in a while, three times in all since I left in Oct. 04, and the place only looks more run-down and lower classed than when I was there. Don't ask me why I chose that place, because I don't know, but I was there for 18 months and have to chalk it up as an experience to remember that I wish I could forget.
