Where to start... We signed a lease with Towne Properties and then they sold out to Karam. First Karam tried to raise the rent, then they said we were going to start paying for water ($35 flat rate for two people per month!!), then they tried to make us pay even more for the washer and dryer we already had(they claim that we were never charged by Towne). After not doing any of this they never followed up because they knew they were wrong and were trying to screw over ignorant yet innocent people. They also tore down our patio fence in September and still have not put a new one up! Our furnace was from the 70's took them forever to fix it when it broke, they ended up giving us a new one, after we were heatless for a week. They gave us space heaters, and then when they came back to get them they walked in with no notice and walked INTO THE BEDROOM where my girlfriend was not even fully dressed and getting up because we heard a noise. We never got an apology and he didn't even close the door right away. On top of it all they have said we are getting new windows since the last week of January, still no windows, so they sent out another notice saying that they are going to come in and inspect the old windows, yesterday being one of those days they must have come in while we were at work (saw footprints) and they unlocked the sliding back door, mysteriously SOMEONE TRIED TO BREAK IN LAST NIGHT, luckily our dog scared them away. We asked them once if we would be able to switch to a new building, and they told us we would have to wait until our lease was up, and then have to pay a $300 transfer fee. Seems to me like they are money grubbing and have no morals. At one point we even saw a mouse inside.

Watch out for the maintenance person named Tim, I hear he is a pervert. It was probably him that walked in. I've had similar problems with him.
