LONG LIST OF PROBLEMS

CAUTION: LONG LIST OF PROBLEMS! When I moved in I had a problem with my patio door. It wouldn't lock properly. If you were outside you could give the door a couple of yanks and it would unlock. Also it leaked air - there was an inch long gap large enough to stick my thumb in. Orginally I was told the door would be replaced. The maintence manager told me this. Turns out that management would not allow it. So he was going to find a vacant apartment and switch doors. This is how they fix a lot of things. Take it from another apartment. I've had SEWAGE backup and leak into the utility closet and leak over my kitchen floor 4 times. Was told that neighboors clogged there upstairs toliet. Had a problem with aunts. Carpet nasty. There was a whole cut in the wall when we tried to move in that took 3 weeks to patch and still is not painted. -------------- management had financial problems and couldn't get approval from the bank to make repairs. Twice recieved notice from gas company that office did not pay bill and GAS WOULD BE TURNED OFF. Office staff are rude, mocking, lie, charge some residents fee and not others. Neighboor moved in 1 week after me and they pay $100 less and have new carpet, lights etc...
BOTTOM LINE ONLY MOVE IN HERE IF YOU WANT A HEADACHE.

My windows didn't lock properly. Four months after I reported that issue, someone from maintenance (finally) came by and took a missing piece from a window in an empty unit. He TOLD me this!
