Fun but be cautious

I write this review in the hopes that the reader will find it useful and informative. I lived at Brookstone for about 1.5 years. I will say this: I loved it and wish I was still there. The location is awesome (east side of Cinti and close to Hyde Park- what more can you ask for), pool parties are out of control (sometimes you think you are in Melrose and not Cinti), and the majority of fellow tenants are young professionals. I really enjoyed my time there and would recommend it to anyone. Darwin of the maintenance staff is top notch - if only everyone was so lucky to get him for a handyman.
Now for the bad:
1. every time it came time for lease renewal the rates went up - great way to reward your repeat customers!
2. keep every piece of paperwork you get from them. I gave them about 4 months notice that I was not going to be renewing my lease. When it came time to get back my deposit, it was smaller than what I was expecting bc "insufficent notice was given." what a load of bs.
3. trash dumpster location was annoying - had to drive car to dumpster to drop off trash.
