Yo!

It's Not Worth The Cost

I paid about $850 for a one-bedroom. The apartment was large. It was well kept. But the cabinets are ugly, there is paisley wallpaper in the kitchen area, the kitchen floor is that cheap fake tile, all the doors are those cheap light hear-through kind, etc., etc., etc. Oh, and the carpet was dirty and an ugly light brown.

The staff was great. The pool is nice. They have free gas grills (two of them). The only problem with the pool is people from around the town get into the pool area so it's always packed with "friends" of residents. There are never any places to lay out unless you get there early and then you are soon surrounded by zillions of people all the while listening to the same stupid rap/R&B music from the speakers on the radio station the complex has playing.

Overall I liked it, but for the cost, and the quality of the apartment itself, it's just not worth it. Or at least it's just not my style.

90% of the apartments are rennovated. Your apartment just happened to be an old one. I've lived here for years and have been in several of my friends apartments. None have wallpaper in it. If you ask, I bet the complex will take it down for you.

I agree with the first poster...i am out of here shortly since i pay about the same and it's not worth it. I do love this place and the locale...but everything is cheap when they are making a freaking killing off us. We should wake up each morning with a mint on our pillow. Also i have heard about and suspect mold in my own apartment and that is a very serious/dangerous health concern. Also there is a great deal of runoff out on the grounds/pavement that has caused accidents. The maintenance staff is great, that is one thing i'll miss and the pool is very nice...other than that and the gas fireplace, sianara!
