I lived in Alba Villa for one year and moved out in Oct 2006. The best thing I can say is that it was very cheap - I probably paid 7 months rent for the 12 months I was there, and management never said anything about it, thats how disorganized and poorly run this place is. There were no updates to the building while I was there, no repairs to the general areas - they are letting the building rot, which is a shame because it could be a nicer place.

There were bugs in the building, some kind of very large crawlers with a lot of legs, pretty gross to see going up your wall - kind of deters the thought of having much company in case one may scurry out.

There was routinely damage in the hallways - a light fixture was broke as well as a picture hanging on the wall. Both were not repaired still when I moved out 6 months later. The walls were also dirty, having full dirty handprints and other signs of wear which were never cleaned. There were also constant smells of weed in the hallway.

Thats the negative, the positive is that the apartments have some character and the neighborhood is beautiful there on lake avenue. The grounds generally looked good. With more care from management the building could be more well kept and this would be a fine place to have a quiet apartment.
