This could be one of the worst apartments in Cleveland. Sure, the rent may be affordable, but you really get what you pay for. Actually, you get far less than you pay for. What's wrong with Edgewater Landing Apartments' Where do I begin' First, the parking lot and building are sub-par at best, and they're not safe. You'll see unsavory characters roaming around day and night, loud music abounds from cars and apartments and despite a gate that keeps cars from entering the parking lot, nothing keeps anyone out. If a criminal is on foot, they can easily walk right up to your car. I had one of my rear-view mirrors damaged. The inside of the building, besides being ugly, it always dirty. The apartments themselves are riddled with problems. You have to flush the toilet several times just to get one piece of toilet paper down (this is a building wide issue apparently, when I asked to have my toilet fixed I was told that's just how they are). The dishwashers take forever to run and don't really clean your dishes. The air conditioners work well at first, but they quickly lose power. The sinks and tub often clog. The sinks and showers often drip. Power outages are common, even in simple rain showers. The walls are paper thin, so you hear noise from all the other apartments. The maintenance staff does quick fixes, but nothing ever really gets repaired. The management staff is unresponsive, unhelpful, rude, ignorant and utterly worthless. Asking them to do anything for you is like asking for a lung. They act so put out and annoyed when you ask for a simple thing, like a package that was sent to you. All in all, Edgewater Landing is a huge sh-t hole. $485 for a tiny one bedroom apartment with poor amenities and a horrible staff is a rip off. DO NOT MOVE THERE.

I am not looking for an apartment at this time, however, if I were looking for a new apartment home; I would not let this comment stop me from visiting Edgewater Landing Apartments. I've lived long enough to know that the person that wrote this comment is pretty upset about something. It's not necessarily the building or the staff, he or she could have just had a (very) bad day and displaced aggression unfolded. I would have to see the property for myself, finding a new home is a very important decision; I don't let other people make my decisions for me.
