Our apartment had sub-standard wiring (the lights would dim if you plugged in a toaster, my UPS system would clamp and holler every few minutes). The shower never worked quite right and cars were vandalized in the supposedly secure lot. This was partly due to incorrect instructions given to new tenants.
The rooms were small, closet space limited, and the hardwood floors would give in under your step if you walked in the wrong place.
on the bright side it was very quiet and quite nice air flow and feng shui in the springtime. Some of the neighbors were very friendly, although there was no community spirit.
This apartment suited our needs, but I would have been happier if the rent had been about 200 dollars less.
