I lived in the Blvd View apartment building for over three years. During that time, I experienced heating bills in December - March of upwards of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS. Keep in mind my apartment was about half the size of a normal one-bedroom apartment. The insulation/windows in the building are a total nightmare. Everytime the wind blows, the windows creak. It would keep me up all night at times, whether I slept in my bed or had to move to the couch.

Also, the parking is a nightmare. If you have the option of parking underground in the garage, DON'T DO IT. The garage door literally closed on my trunk last summer (even though there is apparently a sensor there), caused $1,800 damage, and I had to claim it on my car insurance because the management would not reimburse me. The garage is dark, wet, and leaks on your car --- not water, but some sort of other substance that stains your car.

Yes, the building is close to Case, the Clinic, etc. I work in Cleveland Heights so I thought the location was most important. I was wrong. If you can afford to look elsewhere, do so.

I totally agree. I lived there for 1 year. In addition to the problems listed, the management refused to clear snow blocking the underground parking garage door. There had been a long and heavy snowstorm and it was impossible to get out of the garage until some tenants got out and shoveled. Even then the road out was almost impassable. Many were late to work or took public transportation. Boulevard View STINKS.
