In short, I sued my landlord for $330 after I moved out and won. If you go go the cleveland heights clerk of courts homepage you will see that the landlord, Alan Pearlman, is sued many times a year. I have never heard a current or past tenant say anything positive about the landlord. If you have a maintenance problem, you'll have to convince Alan that you're not making it up and that you're not at fault for causing it. Don't be shy about suing him if you already live there. Avoid this property if you can.
