The leasing agent is somewhat misinformative. When I asked him/her if top floors will be hot and she said no and that it's breezy. It turned out for the whole summer good 3 months, the place was so hot and inhospitable all day and it got worst at night, radiating heat. It would be 88 degrees on the cooler times of the day! My toothpaste melted. I couldn't stand to stay in the apartment not to mention sleep in it. I believe she was aware of it because he/she had mentioned to a potential tenant that the upstair rooms have terrible temperature fluctuations. Of course there was no mention of that when he/she was trying to get me to sign the lease.

None of my windows have cables attached for easy open/closing -- I couldn't open half my windows, they were stuck shut. Half my windows are missing one or more storm window panes, so the bugs came in because of the missing panes. I would come home to swarms of gnats(flies) on my ceiling everyday. Instead of ordering new ones, they told me they don't have anymore more storm window panes.

Kitchen appliances were fine. There are however no exhaust fans above the stove so you'd have to open your windows and doors when you cook.

Before I left I cleaned everything, even the floor covered by appliances (ie floor under the fridge and dishwasher) because I heard they would deduct money even for stuff under the frige! I clearned even that and still I got charged for dirty floor!

The walls have thick paint all over so half the doors in my apt wouldn't even close at all. The laundary room is pretty scary, and the storage room is just damp and unhealthy. I couldn't imagine storing anything under there.

I have to agree w/ previous comment, to get a double in front of building, where there is actually shade from trees. I would recommend just STAYING AWAY from this management altogether to save trouble.
