Good location, but you pay for it. Manager (Edward) will charge you what he thinks he can squeeze out of you. You'd be shocked how much some residents get gouged compared to others.

Building is noisy, not because of the residents, but the floors are loose, the walls are paper-thin, and the pipes are loud. Its been difficult for us to sleep most nights.

Security system isn't hooked up, and the front door is propped half the time. It usually doesn't matter during the week but on the weekends the gangstas come down the street from East Cleveland and the bad part of the heights, and it can get scary at times.

Upkeep is generally good. The building is clean, well cared for, and in good shape for its age. The custodian (a woman who lives across the street) is scary and unfriendly but attentive to the building. Management will enter apartments without notice (we've caught them) even though that's supposedly not permitted.

There's only one set of laundry machines and they almost never work. Dryer always takes 2 or 3 runs to dry your clothes and sometimes the washer backs up (gross). The plumbing is loud and weak (think multiple flushes, everytime), and it's almost never warm enough even on the top floor.

Parking is expensive, but convenient.
