I am currently a resident. I moved there for I liked the location and the building is pretty nice. Man, what a mistake I made.. The management will drive you nuts.. It is like living in a dorm.. Damn, I am 49 years old and do not want to me under a microscope. If you ever have guests, 'look out', Sue will try and say you have a room mate and charge you another $200.00 a month.. Read the contract.. Any guests staying more than a week has to be reported.. That is insane... They enter your apartment and spy on you as well. I painted a wall and sure enough, phone rings, I have to go to Home Depot and give Sue the official swatch, sign damn form and so on. Once I wanted them to hold my check to pay for parking for a couple days while I iron out an issue with a company that took much money out of my checking account. Sue said she would evict me..
Listen, whether you believe me or not, it doesn t matter. What take a chance when there are other apartments just as nice close by' Ones which respect privacy and does not meddle in your life. If you move in to Huron or the Osborn, you might as well be in jail for you have no rights or privacy..
Please Please really think about this.... You do not want to be in the same boat I am in..

I lived there for 1 year and yes your right, Sue and Donna meddle in your business and are very nosey. This place isn't for people over 20 who like to be left alone.

Thank you for this detailed review. I've been considering this as one location where I might live while in Cleveland and I want to assure you that the specific details you mention go a long way to helping me make up my mind. I am disinclined to believe rosy and enthusiastic praises of a property when so many specific complaints are repeated, and many people seem to have had problems similar to yours.
Some people just have severe control issues, and it seems that the management might fall under that category, poking their noses into what is meant to be your own, private dwelling. I agree, this doesn't seem like a place for independant adults to make a happy home; thank you for sharing your experiences! I will certainly be looking elsewhere for my apartment, and anybody who does choose to live there might benefit from buying a cheap security camera like a NannyCam and train it on your front door; that way you will be certain that nobody enters without your knowing it.
