The best part about this apartment complex is the construction of the building itself. Thick, concrete walls and ceilings! This keeps down noise big time. No creaking ceilings from neighbors upstairs, no overheard conversations, no bathroom noises. Quietest apartment I've ever rented. Laundry room is kind of expensive and has to be shared with a lot of other tenants. Unlockable garage parking is available at extra cost - helpful in winter and can give added sense of security. 99% of the residents are middle class, normal, working people. The only problem so far has been that occasionally some young, white, parma suburban brats will move into an apartment and create an all night "party house." You know the type. They always drive an old sports car or pickup truck with rims, tinted out windows, no muffler, and unpainted fiberglass ground effects half attached. Pretty soon, 15 of their creepy friends will be living there. They will drink, yell, fight, and blast rap music every single night till four in the morning if you let them. Do not rely on their sense of respect for other people (they have none) or wait for them to bounce the rent checks (mom and dad will bail them out.) The trick is to call the 24 hour maintenance number immediately. Management will send someone over right away and the noise will stop. This really works. Three strikes and they are gone.
