This complex has, by far, the most inexpensive rent in the Cleveland Heights/East Cleveland area. It is also true that the building is close to CWRU, the University Circle museums, Severance, Coventry and other shopping/entertainment facilities. However, the building is not located in the *best* part of town. This is generally not a problem; it's a matter of being watchful and careful at night. My main complaint is noise; the windows and walls are not terribly thick, and thus loud talking, music, and televisions can be heard at various hours of the day and night. Parking is sometimes a hassle, if you don't opt to park in their garage (which costs an extra 50 bucks a month). However, there is a lower lot and I've parked there on occasion, with no negative repercussions. Maintenence jobs are usually handled in a reasonable amount of time, although it sometimes takes them a day or two to finally come and fix whatever problem you may have. I've found the desk people to be friendly, albeit not always incredibly helpful. Office employees have been generally helpful, although requests are often not handled in as timely a manner as they could be. The laundry facilities are good, though expensive: it costs $2.25 to do one load (wash and dry). Also, the quarter machines are almost always out, so bring a roll or two of your own. As apartments go, it's not a bad place to live. I'll probably stay another year, because the rent is such a good value. Still, before you make a decision, you should check the place out for yourself.
