Can't Wait to Move ... Don't Live Here!

This is my second year at Lake Park Tower, and I am counting down the months until I can move out. The parking situation here has become atrocious - you have to sign guests in, and provide personal information about their cars/license plates. Lake Park Management runs the building like it is a Fascist mini-state. It's simply ridiculous. Recently several cars in the parking lot had their windows bashed in; you won't hear this when getting Le Grand Tour of Lake Park Tower. If you have a complaint, you generally will not receive a response. Further, if you have a work order or need something fixed in your apartment, be prepared to wait several days for a response, if you get one at all. I have made various requests for repairs, and am still waiting for some of them to be answered! If there is a problem, and someone comes to fix it, they usually treat you as though the problem is your fault. Several people in the building have had their apartments broken into. Also, the elevators are regularly down for "repairs." This is extremely unsafe in a building which is 26 stories high. The neighborhood is transitional, and is generally not safe. Hence the high number of break-ins, both with regard to apartments and vehicles. The rent may be cheap, and the views great, but the headaches you'll suffer from living here supercede all of this. Pay a little more to live somewhere else; in the end you'll be thankful.
