Overall I'm very happy with my decision to move to this building. I work on the east side of downtown and am able to either hop on the free E-line trolley or walk the mile to work. It's great to have either option. I love to be close to the restaurants and bars--there are so many good ones within walking distance. I agree with one of the previous reviewers who discussed the cable/Direct TV problem and the cheaper appliances. I moved downtown for a different/unique apartment. I love the huge windows, custom paint, and layout of my apartment. I would have loved to have either concrete or wood floors, though. Also, although the management isn't terribly impressive--the rental staff aren't always the brightest or most efficient bunch, the maintenance staff is terrific. They're very prompt and friendly. This building is also pet friendly, which is terrific. All in all, I would recommend moving to this building if you enjoy downtown living, a unique layout and the character that comes with an older building. I am very happy I moved here.
