I've lived here for 5 years. The new management is running the show like a typical corporate, which is to make money. They have been consolidatig a lot of the functions around the building. They are not personal, you will just be your suite number. Maintenance take forever to respond to leak, and to fix the leak. I've had one leak and it took 6 weeks to fix and clean up. 2 weeks later, I had the same leak and it took about 3 weeks to fix and clean up! Improvement. They are spending money in the wrong areas of the building and the residents are paying for it, such as upgrading the lights in the hallway which were perfectly fine. They are submetering the apartments, so we have to pay for electricity. They have consolidated their security. They have raised the parking garage price $80 for standard parking. Increasing the rents for all the units. All in all, its average, but it doesn't deserve all the rave and downtown is not worth it, the city is very disconnected and dying! (unless you work downtown, its a payoff). There is also the convenience of the grocery store and a dry clean.
