I have lived in Reserve Square for 2.5 years now, and under the old management, I never had any problems and was completely satisfied. Since K&D took over ownership late in 2005, I am extremely unhappy.

They spent a lot of money to improve the look of the fitness center, but it is a joke. They bought old, flimsy treadmills to replace the great Lifefitness machines we had before. Anyone serious about lifting can no longer get a decent workout in the weight room - we have joined an oustide gym. It looks nice but has lost functionality.

Worse yet, both me and another apartment I know of (5 floors away) has had COCKROACH problems.

Rates are going up and they now charge for electricity. I am sad to say that I had a great experience here for 2 years, but now I do not recommend this place. I will not resign my lease.

The comment about electricity is verifiable: many or all units now have electric meters in them, added as a K&D improvement. Energy is expensive and rising in cost, so this improvement is understandable. What's surprising is the occasional person in the elevator who thinks the improvements are great, but makes no connection between the improvements and increased _cost of living_ (not necessarily rent).
