The K & D Group purchased Reserve Square approximately 9 months ago, and with any change comes uncertainty. However, one thing we are certain of is that K & D has locally proven time and time again to be a progressive company that truly cares about its residents. We understand that change may be difficult, but the work we are performing is making Reserve Square a premier place to live. High tech security cameras have been installed throughout the property with extra lighting in the garage and a key fob system which tracks building activity. A remodeled world-class fitness center and completely renovated suites add to the extensive list of changes. With the growing that Reserve Square is experiencing, there is no doubt going to be 'growing pains'.
In closing, we simply ask for an opportunity to address any concerns directly. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service and welcome anyone to come to the management office to discuss any problems you may have.

I am a resident - have been here for many years. I agree that K&D is working to improve the aesthetics of this building and they were long overdue. I also believe K&D hasno idea how they have made tenants feel w/ their "Bull in a China Shop" attitude. They never asked residents what they wanted -- just did what they think is needed. They never speak to anyone --hold their heads in the air -- and, in general, make us all feel as though we are non-existent. We don't need the jacuzzi -- nor do we need the outdoor pool that supposedly will be put on the premises. In fact, the safety issue of both projects is something of concern. We need to know that the terrible roach problem is being looked at - we wouldn't mind a smile and a hello periodically. And our input in decisions might be considered. I do hope something can be done to repair the lack of communication and concern felt by the residents.

Thank you for your response. We appreciate your input. Please know that it is not our intention to make you feel as though you are not a part of all of the changes we are making. In fact, we are making the improvements to make your home more enjoyable. As the manager, I have personally met with several residents to discuss their concerns and suggestions. Please know that my door is always open and I encourage you to stop down to the office or call me to discuss anything. It truly is our goal to make Reserve Square the best place to live downtown. We are working to clear up some of the issues from when we purchased the building. For example, we have already begun exterminating the entire east tower and will continue throughout the building. I can't encourage you enough to contact me if you have any other comments, concerns or suggestions. I look forward to meeting with all of my residents. Sincerely, Lori A Brandenburg |

Some agreement with Marymac149. I have not experienced the roach problem in my East Tower, corporate apartment. Extensive spraying has just been done on 5/24/06 for groups of apartments so whatever bugs there are do not simply move from one place to another. The Mayfly problem is a regional 6-10 day fact of life, and they're essentially harmless, afaik. It _is_ astonishing, however, that labrandenburg can say that K&D prides themselves on excellent customer service. I don't think K&D knows what customer service is, and as for being "excellent," I strenuously disagree. I think Equity Properties, previous owner, understood customer service better, -- they just didn't offer it.
