Illegal raising of rents

When I started to lease my apartment in Reserve Square it was signed into my lease agreement that rent would not go up more than $10 on monthly rent upon renewal. Then the building was sold. K&D Group broke this agreement and attempted to raise rent $50 a month, which I managed to talk down to $15 AND decided to charge utilities (previously included) which brought my rent up by a whopping $150 a month. That's just plain illegal. When K&D took over, services went down, we lost security personnel and secured parking and gained more debt. Councilman Joe Cimperman should be ashamed that he brokered a deal with K&D for this building in exchange for the remodeling of the park next door, which NEVER HAPPENED. Cleveland has enough problems with absentee landlords and predatory lending without adding Cleveland few luxury apartments to the pile of garage that is called Cleveland's housing stock

Quit complaining and just move out. I'm sure the residents won't miss you. No one has done anything illegal, you sound like the type that probably also believes they were abducted by aliens or John Escano.
