when i was searching for a new apartment i went onto apartmentratings.com. i almos did not even visit reserve square after reading what some of the residents wrote about this place. but,i decided to go see for myself. i was really impressed with everything they had to offer. i did not know what was inside this building and was pleasantly surprised to find a grocery store, coffee house, bar.i love that i do not have to leave the building to run errans.
with the eception of one or two maintance repairs needed, i have never had any of the numerous "issues" everyone was talking about. i do not hae any bugs or have any security issues here.
the moral of the story is do not believe what a few unhappy people have blogged all over this rating service. if i had i would have never checked this place out.
fyi. i have also referred some of my friends here and got paid by the management company for it!!!

Well said. And likewise you do not stay away from a movie because it gets a bad review. You go and see for yourself if you wish, to make your own judgments, and _in_the_hope_that_ your experience will be different and better. On the whole, people who write these reviews are not lying about their perceptions. They're not crazy. You can easily pick out the ones which are steaming with anger and reflect personal or emotional insult and so on. Even in those cases there is likely a substantial grain of truth, albeit perhaps a mountain has developed out of a molehill. As I've said elsewhere, the amazing thing is that Management has let these molehills grow into mountains, when the cures are often simple, obvious, cost extremely little if anything, and would reap big results in its favor by transforming a negative into a positive review. Some of the strongest positive reviews may come out of seeing how a landlord has successfully dealt with a really annoying problem and turned a complainer into a advocate, by seeing how Management provided _service_ to a tenant. I received very good service from Equity Properties Management, and from the same person after K&D took over, the service was poor.

The security guy is often unfound at the desk. I experienced this the day I moved in, waited 20 min. to pick up my keys to the apartment. I was upset because I was paying the moving company per hour. More outrageous was altho the reserved elevator wasn't available for me. Waited for 2 hours and the rude security informed us it's time for the next guy to use...Not managed well, right!!??
