The leasing agent/ office receptionist who is never there/ a random tenant the owner hired from the building was not just late to show me an apartment she was a no show. I called several times to no avail. I finally got in touch the next day where not only did I get no apology but an attitude on top of it. All signs were screaming get out of this place but I needed a location close to the Cleveland Clinic and this was one of the cheapest. BIG MISTAKE. Roaches, crack addicts and dealers, and yes even PROSTITUTION were going on incessantly right in the building. The parking is horrible, I constantly has other tenants parking in my spot, which management would do nothing about. I really wish i had read these reviews earlier I would have steered clear of Shaker Hall. You have to SIT in the laundry room until your things are done or they WILL be stolen (yeah!!!), the tenants are so loud and noisy, and when you complain the staff has the nerve to eye you down and give dirty looks. When my lease is up in a month I am running for the hills and never coming back. There is actually a group of (FIFTY count em FIFTY former tenants against Nessel Development and their employees. I am filing an extensive report with the Better Business Bureau and TRUST me it will not be the first filed about this horrid company and lanlord. The only reason I am giving this place 1 star is because you cant give zero. Unfortunately!

Shaker Hall Apartmaents are not as beautiful as they make it seem. It's a manager by the name of Mavis & Her brother Terry they are some lazy, low-class trashtalkers. You have a problem with your apartment," They -------- around & try to make it out to be your fault if you have problems with anything in the apartment. They try to FOOL you by having hardwood floors that's not really even secured to the floor properly. Mavis sometimes comes to work drunk," Personally that's not professional. If you were to have an incident as to where the police needs to be called," They have a problem with that,and Threatens to evict you if you were to call them again. I think they try to cover-up something with their lying asses. The custodians' are BUMS. They do absolutely nothing that a two year old couldn't handle themself. They spend most of their time," Eating Food, Gossiping ---- about residents they don't know nothing about, Or simply sceme a way to get people to lease their ------ ass apartment so they can pocket more tax returns. Never consider leasing at Shaker Hall Apartments, YOU'LL REGET IT. They're SLUMLORDS, -----Talkers, AND MONEY HUNGER, NO CLASS HAVING, SCUMBAGS.....
