I just moved out of Waldorf Towers and couldn't be happier to be rid of the place. However, my joy was crushed when I learned I was only getting back $140 of my $475 security deposit( my half only). This is because they are ridiculous about inspecting the apartments when you move out. In order to get back your full deposit you would almost have to spend the deopsit amount to hire a professional cleaning company to come in and give the apartment a complete overhaul. And don't bother trying to talk to the staff about this because the second you stop paying rent they no longer care at all. They will tell you that you should have "scrubbed harder" or "spent more time." Well, my rommate and I spent a combinded total of 8 hours cleaning the apartment to get back less than half of the deposit. If for some reason you do decide to move in here, don't count on getting much, if any, of the deposit back!
