Waldorf is way over-priced. Nearly all my friends found much cheaper housing in apartments and houses around campus and Little Italy. Doughnuts in the morning are nice, but I'd rather save $200 a month living somewhere else.

Everything said about losing the security deposit is true. It's a foregone conclusion.

The building is old, and here and there it starts to show. For instance, one day the wall became wet and the paint cracked when it was rainy and windy. The garbage disposals tend to break, and the stovetops are crappy.

Maintenance is fairly quick, and the people in the office are usually helpful. I never had any big problems to handle in the office, so I don't know how awful they can be.

On the plus side, the triples are fairly spacious with lots of closet space. Noise was never a problem.

Some of the doors to the building don't lock. I never felt the need to worry though.
