I have been living at West Tech Lofts since about two years after they openend and I tell you what,they were once apon a time the ultimate spot to really live. Now here within the last two years that place has gone completley strait to hell. Please belive me when I tell you all this. I have witness many cars being broke into as well as three apartments. The management staff is absolutley not to be trusted at all. They make promises they wont keep. They change corporate companies every year,I have seen 7 differrent building managers and the Management staff are well under 30 years of age. They will let any and everything move in now. If you got any good since please DO NOT MOVE IN THERE, you will soon regreat it!!!

I agree completely. The place has so much potential The units are actually nice with some character. The concept is awesome. However I agree there are several major problems. (1) cars break-ins (no secured outdoor parking); (2) Units broken into; (3) With these problems and the with the neighborhood not being the greatest, people still prop open the secure building doors; (4)the building fire alarms go off periodically in the middle of the night and once or twice continued for several hour: (5)a tenant group had to be formed to force management to start doing the basic maintaining of the building; (6)flooding; (7) rundown fitness room; (8)they accept more section 8 people then any of the warehouse/lofts in the area...it seems like a majority at times; and (9)the building is in default. Maybe West Tech Lofts would be better served as a work/live building allowing artist to move in instead of some of the residents.

As a manager at West Tech Lofts I would like to say in response to this negative comment that the car break ins have decreased immensely over the past year as we have input tigher security in place. Please note that we will be adding 12 more security cameras to the building in the next month. We were able to get the approval and contract signed. This should be taking place soon. I have had a lot of compliments lately with all the improvements we have been doing, including tree trimming around the property, a new parking lot, and re-cementing stripping the garages. We also have plans to fix the pet run area and strip paint off steel frames in the Courtyards and repaint them with a vibrant color that is going to really catch your attention. Our management staff has had all previous experience in the field they conduct business and are well trained to add up to their title. I have been managing apartments for six years now, two years of those spent in Las Vegas managing three high rise "Class A" office buildings. I have gone to college and attained my bachelors degree in Business Administration so when it comes to how we conduct business age should not be a discrepancy. Our apartment building is improving daily and I hope you as well as all the other residents see this change. Please note that we will be holding another resident meeting, September 2nd at 7:00 PM. We hope to have a good turn out!
