Reading the reviews of other people I have to agree with some of the positive and also the negative. I have lived here for 2.5 years in a one bedroom. I will start with the positives. I do like the floorplan of my apartment and the size is good, they have three one bedroom floorplans and I have the middle sized one. The location is pretty nice, it's centraly located and the complex sets off by its self. It has a lake to the one side and a good view of the skyline on the other side (which is nice during Red,White and Boom).I personaly have not had to many problems with anything being fixed. Now the negatives, my rent went from $650 when I moved in to $700 two years later. Yeah fifty dollers in two years and I was told that I was getting a deal. I have never once been late and I do keep a nice apartment and they know because the come in and look when you resign a lease. I'm not really getting a deal since they are advertising on apartment guide that this model goes for $619: with fireplace and the floor its on and the direction it faces. Yes thay charge extra for all of these things. This complex in the summer is a party ALL hours of the night. Lots of OSU students here and they drink alot and do not care about throwing trash around and drinking and being LOUD all night long. They allow dogs and tell people to clean up after them but they don't. The pool behind the office right now is gross they didn't drain it and put the cover on this fall' They have tried to fix the bug filled lights in the buildings for about a years now but some are still out. The grounds need a better landscaping crew (which they hire) no mulch this last year so lots of mud now by where you walk in the entry ways. In the summer my apartment stays cool and in the winter it's cold. You use hot water through a heat exchanger to heat and the hot water tank is on the outside of the apartment in a closet off the patio. In the bathroom I can hear other people talking and yes if you are quiet everyword and if someone lives above you and it's a guy you can hear them taking a leak. Last I have killed so many spiders it's crazy. I do buy my own spider killer (Hot Shot spider killer) that has worked pretty good but I still kill them and they are big ones. I would guess hundreds, for real but I am on the ground floor. Overall this place has good points and promblems just like any other place I have rented.
