I moved to Arbors of Watermark 3 years ago. Here is my experience:
- I have never found any reason to complain about neighbors, pets, management
- The girls in the office are as sweet as can be, knew me by name, and held the gazillion packages for me that arrived all the time
- I have only had issues a couple of times: I had clogged the sink, and somebody came up within the hour (!!!) the water had broken two times somewhere in the apartment complex in the past 3 years and we were (shocker!) out of water for 2-3 hours. That's it.
- I don't know what people are talking about with thin walls either.. and wind howling down a chimney' ya.. it's a chimney, wind does that. I never heard a peep from my neigbors, the only thing is, when you are really quiet and you listen really carefully, and the person in the apartment adjacent to yours has their bathroom fan on, you can hear the lowest hum. Never had any noise issues what-so-ever.
- No kids running around, no crime, no trash on the premises, very clean, no pests, no aggressive dogs as far as I can tell, and very responsible dog owners (there is always going to be that one person leaving behind droppings if the are in a hurry, forgot the baggie, or are plain lazy, everywhere, accept it)
- The apartment was in excellent shape, we had new carpeting, and everything was cleaned before we moved in.
- Compared to other places the space is huge, especially the storage and the balcony!
- Snow was taken care off very quickly this past winter, I got out of the house at 6:30 am and they were already at it with our street completely cleared
We have to move on since we are planning on expanding the family and want our own house. I will be missing this place dearly though. It has been very good to us. If you are going to rent here, (and you should sincerely consider it, especially if you have a dog: there is a beautiful lake and just so much room for him to run around)you might want to consider doing a longer lease, if you are happy with what you see. Because they will up your rent everytime you renew it by somewhere between $20-50, so that's a bummer. However, it is worth it. We have an apartment facing a small park and we can watch all those dogs chasing each other, it's great.
Oh, and just to do a little bit of advertisement since they will lose our business here soon: try out Fifth & Kenny animal hospital. It's small but they are so nice and helpful. I tried two other places before, one on first avenue i believe, and one that operates both in Dayton and here, and they both didn't treat me or my animal very nicely. Fifth & Kenny was great.
Even though parking is not assigned and you do sometimes have to park away about 30 seconds from your apartment, there are carports and garages, and I have always felt save.
Considering the price, the apartments and the location, this is the best you will find. Took me ten minutes to get to school and my husband ten minutes to get to his work. About 15 minutes to Tuttle, to Polaris and to Easton. Hilliard shopping center is 10 minutes away, Giant Eagle five minutes.
So to all you people with the bad ratings: people.... seriously'

I didn't think the Management was allowed to review the Apartment Complex??? This one is OBVIOUSLY written by the management to try and boost the Horrible ratings (Which they deserve!)
