I decided to move in the apartment in January of 2006. The apartment was ok; there was nothing bad about it until the day I moved in. When I signed the lease for the apartment, I asked if they allowed dogs, they told me that policy recently changed and they didn't allow dogs at this time. However people who lived above me had a huge dog who would bark constantly, day and night. (I lived on the third floor; there are 4 floors in the building) So much for the policy about dogs. In addition, walls are paper thin; you can hear everything. Heating/cooling that I had to pay same price ($60 per month), didn't work majority of the time and when it worked it didn't worked correctly. Dishwashing machine broke down couple of times and flooded people who lived underneath me. My car got broken into in the apartment parking lot. They have cameras installed, but the cameras couldn't capture who broke into my vehicle because "the angle of the camera wasn't wide enough". I don't think they even work; they are probably installed for show. In addition, there were never places to park my car. People parked wherever they wanted. Besides that, when I signed my apartment lease, I was offered free internet. Well, it didn??t work 6 out 9 months I lived there. Thank goodness that I could use internet at work and at school. I had to pay $600 for 1 bedroom. I think that apartment doesn't worth that much. I lived in the downtown apartment last year and paid only $400 and it was much better that Riverpark apartment. Anybody who are planning to move they, take your money elsewhere. This place needs to be torn down.
