Worst decision I ever made!!

I moved into this apartment complex in April '05 and had to move out in November '05. We had many, many maintenence issues that were not fixed until I signed the termination of the lease. My apartment was broken into, our grill was stolen off of our porch, I was living under an apartment of crack heads, which the apartment complex was aware of and they said they could do nothing about. There are prostitutes in the complex as well as drug dealers. Weston Gardens did absolutely nothing to make the area better and did absolutely nothing to fix my apartment. Just a heads up, if you want to live in a very unsafe place and don't mind if nothing in your apartment works, then this is the place for you. If not, I would steer clear of this place!

Through the past years, we have worked extremely hard to rid the property of many of the issues you have mentioned. We have instituted a courtesy officer system using 2 officers from the Columbus Police Department. The officers are at the community nearly 40 hours each week to ensure issues such as prostitution and drug dealing are not taking place. Furthermore, we have tightened our rental policy, requiring that anyone over the age of 18 complete a rental application and are listed on the lease. This is done not only to obtain credit and rental history, but also assists in discovering criminal records. We perform regular apartment inspections of both occupied and vacant apartments. If it is deemed that there are illegal occupants, a notice to vacate the apartment is sent. If it is not complied with, we follow up with an eviction.
Our current maintenance team works extremely hard to complete the requests of our residents. With 242 apartment homes, they have been able to find a balance of productivity and accuracy to ensure the most work gets done accurately and efficiently.
While it seems that your stay here may not have been satisfactory to your standards, our staff, both then and now, are working to improve every day. We will most definitely use any criticism as a learning tool, and ensure that concerns of both past and present residents are addresses fully.

As for the comment about Edna, I am very offended that someone who works as hard as she does to prepare apartments for move in, can be treated so rudely.
