-was reading throught the reviews and this is what I know to be true for I lived there for over 1 year.
-the gates work yes, about once a week every month for the entire year I was there
-the office Manager at the time was very rude and abrute, after she got us to since the lease
-never got my deposit back and from what I can tell it never went for anything, if so I never got a notice as to what
-would I recommended these places no
-you can find nicer places for same price
-I did not recall any frost
-did like all the windows was able to open them in the sping and air out place
-did love the 2bed/2bath garden that we rented
-then only problem I had with maintance is one time my smoke detector was going off and I have to wait like a 24 hrs to get it replaced. Other than that there maintence was great. Was very quick to respond to my issues, even changed the light bulb outside my apt before I reported it.

The new management blows. They are very rude. It looks great, but this place is quikly becomming a dump. They release all their good maintenance staff. Now nothing is being done. They do whatever they can do and do it cheap. They will gladly take your money and run. The gates hardly work, but in part of people trying to drive through them. People here tend to leave their trash all around the dumpster and management does nothing. I guess it's too difficult to put trash in the dumpster. It is very difficult to get out of a lease here too. They will not work with you. I have been here for 4 years and have paid every time in full and on time. I am possibly being transfered but won't know until July. My lease expires in Sept. They demand a 60 day notice if you are going to renew or not, if not the lease will renew automatically. If you give sign the intent to move out thing, they will rent your apartment out before you actually move out, forcing you to move out. So essentially, they got you hooked. Not to mention, the first few years they will promise you a no increase deal in rent if you renew. However after a few years, they will increase it that year, plus the amount they were going to raise it by that they "previously" waived. I am moving out. I just hope I don't have to go through the horror stories I have heard about their move out process and how they rape you over for the deposit. They can't hold an office staff, it seems to change monthly. Any staff member I have talked to is unhappy with their management. Essentially, the right hand don't know what the left hand is doing. I would not recommend anyone to move in here. This place puts on a good show, but on the inside, it's a very dark place that is going down hill.
