I really haven't had any problems living at Hickory Creek. I am a 25year old female living alone and I have lived here for almost 2 years. I haven't had a problem with safety at all. My ex-boyfriend got his car broken into, but that's because he left a $20 bill sitting on his seat. That would happen anywhere. Whenever I've had a maintenance problem, the maintenance people would usually fix it the SAME day. I really like the set-up of my apartment and find it difficult to want to leave. The office staff is very friendly and will sometimes work with you, especially if you might be late on your rent once or twice. My only complaint is the heating. My heater when I first moved in was atrocious. It kept the upstairs scorching hot and the downstairs was always freezing. Well, they've now replaced the heaters, and it's just as bad in a different way. Now, they blow really strong air, so everything in your apartment gets blown around, and they're loud. At least the upstairs and downstairs are the same temperature now, though. I wouldn't tell anyone that they shouldn't move here. I had a good experience!
