I would never recommended anyone to move to this apartments. This place is dirty and unsafe. One night, I was taking my rent to the after hours mailbox (it was only 8PM) and was harrassed my a cracked-out crazy lady for $1! She wouldn't leave me alone and followed me back to my aparment. I told the staff the next day and they just said "ok". Recently my car was broken into and when I told the staff, they acted like it was just another day at Hickory Creek. When I first moved in, the apartment hadn't been cleaned. There was an open pizza sauce container under the oven, spider webs everywhere, the screen in the bedroom was removed from the window, an inch of dust on everything, and dog hair in the dishwasher and all over the floor! I had to change my filter on the sweeper twice in one day! Also, we had a carpenter ant problem and it took 4 calls to maintenance before they did anything about it! How gross is that' There are all kinds of weirdos that hang out around here and cars that have sat in the lot for months and the staff does nothing. Also, people from all over the North Columbus neighborhood love to hang out at the pool in the summer. So, even though I pay rent here, often I could not go to the pool because there was no room because too many people from surrounding neighborhoods were hogging the pool. Oh boy, I almost forgot, the heater is so loud I can't even sleep through it at night and the outdoor lighting is terrible and unsafe. I seriously have my mace in my hand at all times when I get out of car here or walk to mailbox. And don't let me forget, everyone here has a pitbull (even thought it's against policy), so I'm sure before I move out my leg will be chewed off by some crazed dog! So, in summary the apartments are dirty and unsafe and the staff is lazy and uncaring. Trust me, don't move here!
