Worst Decision for a Graduate Student

If you like loud noise, bass music, puke, garbage in the hallways, and the smell of urine, you would like living here. This is worse than the frat houses at my undergraduate school. I can never study here. Falling asleep is usually not an option either. I signed a two year lease and regret it every day. You wake up here around 5:00 am...why? because of the damn geese.
The buildings here were made very cheaply. You can hear EXACT WORDS coming through vents from other apartments. I live in a two bedroom and can hear everything my roommate says and she can likewise.
If you are an OSU student, you might like it here because there is a pool and it's cheap. If you care about sanity, sanitation, and peacefulness, DO NOT live at the Island Club.
As for late rent payments. They do charge $75 for late rent. The management ends up "changing"...probably fired...at least once a year so nobody knows what's going on and they don't take care of problems.
Safety. My car has been broken into about 3 times. My friends have come to visit and one got their stereo stolen. The management NEVER repairs the lights, so everything is dark out by the parking...and where you need to walk to get home at night.
