I love it here but when you walk on the path the geese get on the defence and hiss at you. You don't even have to be doing anything. Scary. Lots of poop from them too....... and no lock on the bottom door knob, just the top.

I have lived here at the Island Club for three years and absolutely love it! My apartment home has a beautiful view of the lake and yes there are geese. Geese are part of nature and are part of the serenity of the view from my apartment home. The geese are only hissing b/c they are defending their nests since it is nesting season. There are four huge lakes on the property so having geese is expected. The geese poop becomes a problem every once in a while but if I call the office and report it someone comes out and sweeps off the walkways. I would recommend for you to do the same :)
