Will Rip You Off as Much as Possible

I've lived at Island Club for over three years, and at one point in time I was a happy renter. When previous owners Aimco sold the community a terrible company named the Connor Group, everything went downhill. You must understand that The Connor Group owns an affiliate company named Heartland Regional Power, and this is the company that will bill you for your water, trash, sewage, and pretty much anything else they can find to charge you for. The lying bratty girls who work in the office will tell you that it is just a regular water bill and coerce you into signing a utilities addendum, and then a month later you will receive a $70 bill that covers water, sewage, trash removal, pest control, common electric, and a $10 administrative fee, which is actually just money being pocketed. Furthermore, instead of charging you for your actual utility usages, these scumbags simply take the real utility bills and readjust them based on square footage, so every resident is actually paying more than what they used. Even worse, they never will mention to you that things like common utilities, common water, pest control, and other things will be billed to you. I'm still debating the legality of this matter, but PLEASE, do not rent from here. Like I said, I've lived here for three years, and I love my apartment mainly because I have a great lakeside view, but the rent will always go up and the company will continually pluck every penny they can out of your pocket. I have never once in three years been a single day late paying rent and they still try to screw me every chance they get. If you rent from here, good luck...don't say you weren't warned...
