I find the staff to be helpful and friendly. How many places have a hand lettered "welcome Ferd and Frannie" (or somesuch) card on the stove with a bottle of sparkling cider and a package of cookies'
When parking was tight in the lot by my building (meaning extra folks were parking there) the office came around and tagged non-registered cars so those people stopped doing so; there is now enough parking. Go figure!
Maintenance did a good job of resolving several issues, including fixing the results of one "random act of stupid" in my part. They even remember my request not to use salt on the walk directly in front of my doorway (a personal preference based on supporting nature).
I find the complex to be well run, professionally staffed and maintained as well as a 20-30 year old set of buildings can be. Is there a bit of "rust around the edges'" Sure, but they manage it fine and keep on top of things. My only wish is that the windows were double paned rather than single.
Very pleasant layout, a nice "move in" checkoff procedure to document any small issues, I am very happy here. Incidentally, my apartment was freed up when the tenant who had been here 20 years downsized to a 1 bedroom in the same complex. That says much.
Wish there was a bit more dumpster capacity, that there weren't so many overflowing bags of beer bottles (ahem), but that goes with the territory when the clientele spans a broad range. I'm picking up a bit of Spanish so I can communicate better with a few of the ethnic neighbors, greet everyone with a smile, and get one in return.
