I have lived at Orleans for a few years now and at first it was great. The residents were clean and polite, but that is not the case now. I don't know what happened, but over the last 2 years I have seen a steep decline in the quality of people that live there. The parking is absolutely ridiculous. The low-life residents spend every evening partying with their friends who park anywhere they wish instead of at the rental office where there are plenty of extra spaces. Complaints to management regarding the parking are met with a very nasty attitude statement of - there are no assigned parking spaces and we can not do anything about it. Orleans parking is unlike other communities in that you parallel park right in front of your apartment instead of straight in. Due to this, it is extremely uncomfortable to have an unknown vehicle that close to your front door and windows especially knowing the caliber of people that will be in that vehicle. I was promised 2 parking spaces when I initially signed my lease but am now hesitant to leave my space on Friday or Saturday evenings because someone will be parked right in front of my apartment when I get home.

The walls in the apartments are very thin. I have a neighbor who can not close her kitchen cabinets without slamming them. Another neighbor plays their music so loud that the connecting wall vibrates. And speaking of loud music, residents do not have the common sense to lower the volume of their car stereo while in the complex. I can hear the music through my closed windows. I absolutely dread going home because of the scum living around me.

Last summer someone stole an $80 chaise lounge chair, and just this past week-end, fall decorations were stolen from my front patio right outside my bedroom window. It is unnerving knowing someone was that close while I slept.

Snow removal in the winter is horrible. The main road to the community leading to Hayden Run Road is a nightmare to navigate. Of course the trailer trash residents from, not only Orleans, but the Farms and the Charleston as well, will tailgate you the entire way. The Farms and Charleston residents are no better by the way.

One other thing is that people pile up trash on the steps leading to the trash compactor instead of placing it IN the compactor. How lazy can you get''

Overall, this place is awful and I can t wait until my lease is up. I am sure if you are trailer trash you will feel right at home here otherwise, STAY AWAY.
