I just moved out of my apartment yesterday. It wasn't that bad. Only time I heard gun shots were during the 4th of July. I stayed in the back next to Huntington Bank and it's fine back there. No kids screaming outside. However, my husbands car was broken into twice but nothing was stolen. I told the rental office that I didn't want to be anywhere near any violence (if you don't they will place you anywhere). He moved me in between a professor who lived there for 10 years and a retired woman who lived there 8 years. Now don't get me wrong, it's not a great place to live with children. I'm pregnant and that's why I moved. Plus the fact that the apartment wasn't up to date and the laundry room was too far from my apartment and things were always falling apart. To sum it all up, you get what you pay for. I won't be so cheap in the future.
