Even though the apartments were in the hood we liked the layout of the two bedroom on Luxury Lane. We really thought the $399 a month we were paying was a great "special"(later found out the special goes on every month all year round). Everything was fine for the first month until we got mice. We had roaches to begin with and the whole year we got our apartment exterminated every other month and the problem got worse. In total we had about 7 or 8 mice caught on traps in bedrooms and the kitchen in about a 3 or 4 month period. The office staff is generally nice but dont take complaints seriously because they dont have to live with it. Had to peek out of bedrooms to watch the cars of our guests because our guests have had their windows busted out and license plates stolen. Our apartment also had several break in attempts but luckily they never got in. Luxury Lane is under new management so hopefully it will get better. If you are comfortable living with roaches and mice and around drug dealers and just flat out crimininals that will get you for what you got, then go for it. If not....RUN!
