pros
-relatively new, modern apartments with decent floorplans
-convenient access to 270, 670, downtown, osu
-rates rather low especially for the area compared to marble cliff and the quarry but definitely not luxury apartments
cons
-walls and floors are paper paper paper thin - be prepared to hear everything that goes on around you. ceiling constantly creaks from any movement above, neighbors music and tv can be heard as if it was in my apartment. my bedroom overlooks the parking lot i can easily hear the slightest commotion out there and the quarry can be irritatingly loud
-fitness and business centers are normally community perks here at river oaks they are sick sad pathetic joke
-staff was nice but if you need maintenance you really have to keep on them. single requests normally take several calls and several days and single problems sometimes require several visits from the maintenance staff. i have had problems with my disposal since moving in and have given up hope that it'll ever work properly
-pool is nice but becomes overrun with children coming from the attached neighborhood i presume
-parking is adequate but because of the community's isolated in the middle of nowhere feel at night it can be a bit scary
