I have lived at this community for just under 3 years and have seen it go down the tubes with recent management changes. The staff, especially the comminity manager is RUDE, unresponsive and have NO bussiness in the customer service industry! They act as if they are doing you a favor by allowing you to live there or answer the phone. Maintenence requests can take more than a week to complete. Once I had to call 3 times to have them come out, they told me that they had lost the key to my apartment so they couldn't get in, instead of calling, they ignored the request. In the past 1.5 years there have been multiple break ins that management never bothered to inform residents about.

We never loose keys we do however have hard times sometimes using the key we have and have to cut a new one. The management of properties is not a customer service job and the Manager has to take the brunt of abuse from residents who don't get there way. What they do not under stand is we have to abide by the lease agreement and can't always give them what they want and sometimes we have to say "no"....Most people don't like that answer. The only reason it would take us longer then 72 hours to complete a work order, we had to order parts and or we are waiting on the resident to give us permission to enter... If the resident does not give us permission it is very difficult to get a work order done when they usually work the same hours as maintenance. We have had no apartment break-ins in the last 1 year and 7 months that we have owned the property if you don't believe me check with the local police. This is just an example of a resident not getting there way do to policy or rules. Our policies and rules are in place to make your experience as enjoyable as we can... For every 1 there are 100 more who love it here... You can't please all the people all the time.... Come and see for your selves if River Oaks is the place for you... Our biggest advertisers are our Residents 85% of our New residents were referred by current residents.
